FAQs
What are your typical Spreads? Are your Spreads Fixed or Variable?

We offer variable spreads because we feature access to Forex ECNs. As we understand that with variable spreads is difficult to have a benchmark, we have built a web page where you can check our Spreads statistics and averages for each Data Feed.

FAQs
What are interest, swap, and rollover rates and how are they applied?

The Rollover, or Swaps, is the interest amount that would be credited or debited to your account depending on the currency pair and side (long or short). The rollover is applied to your account if you hold a position open past 4:59:59 p.m (New York); depending on the currency pair, positions size, and whether you are long or short, you would incur into either a credit or debit. The rate is calculated at exactly 5:00 p.m. however it may not be applied to your account right away. Technically, you could avoid this charge if you close your position by 4:59 p.m. and reopen it at 5:01 p.m. however keep in mind the spread and commission charge.

Please take special note that on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. the rollover rates is 3 times the normal rate. This is because it has to compensate for the Saturday and Sunday rates, when markets are closed.

What happens if I place an order for an amount that is greater than the current best bid or best ask?

Orders are filled based on market liquidity/availability, therefore execution price may vary and it may include split fills and partial fills. Split fills occur when your order can't be filled in its entirety at one single price or right away, rather it will be partially filled at one price and the remainder will be at the next available best price(s), based on availability/liquidity.
