A Plug-in is an additional application that runs within PathFinder Trader™. Generally speaking a Plug-in performs certain functions that are not directly available on the software, or it expands the capabilities of existing ones. Plug-ins are easy to use and install and come with a GUI (Graphical User Interface) for ease of use. Plug-ins range from fully-automated and semi-automated trading strategies, to Time & Sales or the popular Money Manager Plug-in to manage multiple accounts on PathFinder Trader™.

Plug-ins are made for different purposes by our development team, or by private developers who have made them available, often under certain commercial terms.

Yes, for example we offer Martingalaga, a Plug-in based on a martingale type of strategy. Once you setup a few simple parameters you can can set it and let it run based on your risk appetite. Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that your account using this Plug-in will be profitable, however it's a good automation of a commonly known type of trading strategy. This Plug-in is offered at $199 per month per license and you can use it on all available Data Feeds.

We need to activate the Plug-in for your platform license. Consequently, you need a valid (active) license to access PathFinder Trader™ either in the demo or the real environment. If you would like to try a Plug-in simply send an email to our support support@fastbrokers.com using the same email we have on file. Make sure to include on your request your Pathfinder Trader™ license code and indicate the Plug-in that you want to test.

Simply download the .pfp file and place it in the Plugins folder within the PathFinder Trader™ main installation folder. Restart your platform and the Plug-in will be listed in the main menu under Plugins.

Some Plug-ins are offered free of charge, while others will have required a one-time or recurring fee.

You can contact us through our API online form. We will send you the required paperwork to be filled out. Once we'll receive your documentation, we'll issue you an Application ID and a password to begin your development. You need to reference to such credentials to access our development environment.

We offer basic assistance to help you develop your application and you will be provided with contact email to our development team. However, the best place to get samples and find answers might be our forum. We have a dedicated section to developers where you can exchange ideas and suggestions. You can login the forum using the same user name and password used to log into the software.

Yes, we do. When your application will be approved, we will send you the Plug-in API documentation and a sample file of a basic application.

Yes, we allow development of commercial applications with the rights to be redistributed. However, you will be required to send a detailed explanation of your application which will be reviewed for compliance and subject to a conformance test.
