A.P.R. component

The Advanced Pattern Recognition (APR), is unique component allowing traders to track specific patterns on a given chart. You can select one of the 20 basic patterns included in the tool or design complete customized patterns using the designer. Patterns can be saved and exported as a file for further modifications.

Standard and Custom Indicators

Pathfinder Trader™ includes more than 60 standard Indicators within the charting component. Settings, display and colors can be easily customized to tune the indicator at its best. You can also create fully custom indicators using the powerful PathScript™ language. A wide selection of fully editable custom indicators is included in the basic platform installation.

Chart Templates

Every object in you chart can be customized. Bar colors and volumes settings as well as background gradient and grids, to make your chart look the way you want. Charts can also be saved as a template for futures use or to be included as part of an existing workspace.

Import/Export

You can build custom charts by importing data from a Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet. Analyze easily public data such as C.O.T. reports or fundamental economic data. Through the same functionality, you can export data to a Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet.

Data and Quotes

Forex Screen

The Forex screen quotes window display real time streaming quotes for selected forex pairs. You can select with currencies to show and organize them according to your needs. A small tick chart showing the last 30 bid and ask ticks is included for a more immediate spread analysis.

Quote Board

With more than 400 contracts to trade and unlimited financial products through selected data providers, the Quotes board displays real time streaming quotes. Add and organize your Window by products exchange, products family using the flexible options. The quote board display can be saved as part of your template.

Economic Calendar

A must have for any trader, our built in real time economic calendar displays the economic agenda for the trading day. The calendar comes in 4 different languages (English, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese Traditional) with direct link to the authorities releasing the indicator, previous and forecast.

DDE Server

With PathFinder Trader™ you can easily export your real time streaming quotes to a Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet both as a standalone application and as part of your auto-execution scripts. Once the D.D.E. server function is activated, simply drag your quotes into the spreadsheet.

Thanks to its capability to setup multiple connections to difference trading or data providers, PathFinder Trader™ makes finally possible to access different products using only one platform. You can run the platform trading via Currenex for forex and some of the most liquid futures exchanges, or connect it to other data providers.

Fix Compliant

PathFinder Trader Trader™ is fully compliant with the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol transmission of messages. Order transmission and trade confirmations are processed though a proprietary and secure tunneling system.

Symbol Selection

By connecting PathFinder Trader™ though selected clearing firms and data providers, you can trade on thousands of products, including electronic futures, multiple forex ECN’s and access data for stocks. Based on your active connections you can search the product you need and add it to your portfolio.

Pathfinder Trader™ makes easy to place trades from a chart. Once placed trades can be easily modified or canceled.

Trading Alerts

Trading Alerts can be enabled to receive both a visual and sound confirmation for your fills. Trading Alerts are available both for trades generated manually or from a Pathscript™ alert.

Depth Of Market Trading

Trades can be executed from the Dome through the friendly user interface. The dome displays in real time trade information and P&L.

Position Management

Export to Microsoft Excel®

All your trading history and portfolio can be easily exported in a microsoft Excel® spreadsheet.

Portfolio Manager

All your current working positions and pending orders are displayed in the portfolio manager. Positions are organized by trading provider

Market Profile

The market profile study is an indicator displaying with a conventional letter prices where the market is trading at. Available for all trading products available on PathFinder Trader™.

Forex View

Display your depth of market for Forex ECN’s using the Forex View. This feature allows traders to aggregate prices of forex products.

PathScript™

Efficient Auto Trading

PathScript™ language is a powerful yet easy to implement programming language, allowing you to design and automate scripts and indicators. If a system can be expressed in mathematical terms or programmed in any structured, procedural language, then it can be programmed using PathScript™. The included friendly script builder allows you to build complex scripts in a few easy steps.

Flexible and powerful

Thanks to Pathfinder multiple connectivity capability, generated PathScriptâ„¢ can auto-trade on different products. You can put your alert or indicator, to work simultaneously for futures contracts, Forex Ecn’s, or both. Just drag the script into a chart. You can also select either if you want the platform to Auto-Trade, or generate a visual and sound alert once a condition is triggered.

Back-Test

Back-Test

PathFinder Trader™ comes with an advanced back-testing tool where you can put to test your scripts and strategies. There are several back-testing options, and each test can be run over completely customizable timeframes, using both ticks or bars. A complete back-test result report is generated at the end of each test. Results are then displayed on the reports and on a chart, showing signals, indicators and estimated equity line.
